Dental Digital Panoramic X-rays

Digital radiography is no longer in its infancy, it has truly arrived. Dental Digital Panoramic X-rays have followed along, with lower radiation and more precision. While the cost of going digital compared to film may seem initially overwhelming, you will soon realize the value when you consider the benefits of image quality, instant exposure, zero use of chemicals or darkrooms, the ability to archive and reproduce images for colleague communication and collaboration. There are free standing and wall mounted systems available, and several systems allow for cephalometric x-ray as well.

Why Digital Dental X-Rays are Better
The digital dental X-ray system is more sensitive than dental X-ray film systems, so exposure to X-rays is cut by as much as 90 percent. The images are large and color-enhanced making it easier for you to diagnose and treat your patients. Without the need for photo chemicals, film, processing or film storage, your used photo chemicals and film are not polluting the environment. Your patients will acknowledge the fact that your dental practice consciously dispenses with chemicals and hazardous waste materials. Most patients are amazed at how quick and easy the X-ray process is. A digital dental X-ray system creates a reassuring image to your patients and adds value to your practice. Continue Reading
